Any guy or girl who has spent a few years in a hostel will tell you that it is a mixed bag. Neither is it all fun, games and drinking, nor is it all studies, ragging and tension. It is an ideal preparatory ground for all to grow up and face life and challenges ahead


i am nostalgic..i studied in a institute which had banned ragging and we had a seperate hostel for boys and girls. so no ragging. the time was the first time away from my home and i enjoyed it fully in hostel.
I learned people skills, money management only from my hostel life. i learned to booze only in social gatherings and never overdo and learned never smoke.I learnt that only 4 hours of sleep is enough!! and results are not the best indicator of brilliancy............soo boozee
